Post-release

We train our mentors to deliver support (either alone or paired with an alternate mentor).

• But we insist that boundaries be respected between the mentor’s private life and the returning citizen.
• The mentor does not act as the solver of all problems for the client. Mentors are cautioned not to provide money to their client.
• Mentors don’t give legal advice either.
• Mentors will refer the client to resources, both governmental and private, as needed.
